While many are excited about the trees, garland, decorations, reindeers, shopping, and gifts, there are others that are not so excited about this holiday season. The cares of life such as loneliness, sadness, heartache, heartbreak, frustration, financial issues, and grief has caused many people to be left to feeling bound.
So many individuals are mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually hurting in ways that are often unexplainable. Along with all that is going on in the world today, people are fighting to stay alive and well. The hope that was once possessed by many is now diminishing by the minutes. During this season, let us take a different approach and be encouragers of one another. It is important that we not allow the material things like the big dinner, the number of gifts under the tree, or this and that be the main focus of the holiday.
Instead, we should share with each other "The Gift" that keeps on giving no matter what. "The Gift" that continuously blesses us from day to day. Let us share the love and compassion that "The Gift" has given us. Let us share "The Perfect Gift" that will deliver peace, joy, and happiness unto us all during this season. Make that delivery this holiday season and leave that "The Perfect Gift" on someone's doorstep...give them--Jesus Christ.
